Hochverehrter Herr!

In nunmehriger Erledigung Ihrer sehr geschätzten Schreiben,1 beehren wir uns Ihnen mitzutheilen, dass unser Executiv-Comité sich mit der Herausgabe der Einleitung zu Phil. Eman. Bach in Brochüren-Form2 einverstanden erklärt und ein Honorar von K 200. -3 hiefür bewilligt hat.

Falls dieser Betrag, der - wie wir uns gleich höflichst zu bemerken erlauben - ein definitiv festgesetzter ist , der einer Aenderung nicht mehr unterliegen kann, Ihre Genehmigung findet, bitten bitten [sic] wir um freundliche bald möglichste Einsendung des Manuscriptes, zu welchem Sie auch gütigst den genauen Wortlaut des Titels vorzuschreiben belieben.

Honored Sir,

In response now to your highly esteemed letter,1 we have the honor of informing you that our Executive Committee declared itself in agreement with publishing in booklet form the Introduction to C. P. E. Bach,2 authorizing an honorarium of 200.- Kroner3 for this purpose.

In the event of this sum, which--as we take the liberty of observing--is final and subject to no alteration, meeting with your satisfaction, we ask you kindly to send the manuscript as soon as possible, and kindly also to stipulate the precise wording of the title.

{verso} We have taken the liberty of today transferring the small remaining payment of

via the Postal Bank to your address at Alexanderhof nr. Siegenfeld, and we ask you please to confirm receipt of this payment by kindly completing and signing the enclosed slip.
