In sofortiger Erledigung Ihrer sehr geschätzten Zuschrift vom 4.d.1 beehren wir uns bekannt zu geben, dass wir das seinerzeit vereinbarte Honorar von K. 200.-2 für die Brochüre "Ein Beitrag zur Ornamentik"3 durch die Länderbank überwiesen haben und bitten wir, diese Verzögerung, die durch ein Versehen des betreffenden Beamten verursacht wurde, gütigst entschuldigen zu wollen.

In prompt response to your esteemed letter of the 4th inst.,1 we have the honor of letting you know that we have transferred the previously agreed2 honorarium of 200.- Kronen1 for the brochure A Contribution to Ornamentation|3 via the Provincial Bank, and ask you very kindly please to excuse this delay, which arose from an oversight on the part of the employee concerned.
