CCNMTL Servers downtime for Monday, July 30th

CCNMTL is planning on taking production applications offline Monday, July 30, 2007 at 7pm to synchronize live data as we continue our process of virtualizing our servers. While the applications are unavailable, a friendly downtime page will be shown to any users. We hope to have everything running again within two hours. We have a contingency plan to roll back the configuration, but we expect the migration to proceed smoothly. Update: July 30, 2007 20:30: Servers back online after a successful migration.

CCNMTL web site down fixed

2007-06-20 09:56: The CCNMTL web site is down. We suspect that this morning's upgrade to the Columbia University web servers the root of the problem, which is related to how Server Side Includes (SSIs) are handled. We notice that other sites are also affected such as the Directory of Classes. Update 1: 2007-06-20 10:56, Main site is back. We have added an override directive that fixes our pages. Other projects may still be experiencing problems. Update 2: 2007-06-20 14:45 All sites appear to be working fine. CUIT rolled back the Web server upgrade.
